Success Guarantee: 14+14-day money-back option
If you purchase online as a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the product. Statutory exceptions apply, including certain made-to-order or clearly personalised products.
For physical Vadalarm products that have not been custom-made or modified, Vadalarm voluntarily provides an additional 14-day money-back period after the statutory 14-day withdrawal period has expired. This gives you a total of 28 days from receipt of the product. The second 14-day period is a contractual benefit offered by Vadalarm, so its conditions may differ from those of the statutory right of withdrawal.
You must clearly notify us of your decision within the applicable period. Under the statutory right of withdrawal, the direct cost of returning the product is normally borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed. The purchase price and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method are refunded in accordance with the applicable rules. Any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product may be deducted from the refund.
Full conditions and return instructions are available in our Return Policy.
Extended Business Withdrawal Guarantee
The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal is intended for consumers. If an order is placed for purposes relating to a business, trade or profession, the buyer is not normally entitled to this consumer right.
For eligible business orders where this option is offered at checkout, a contractual 14+14-day withdrawal guarantee may be purchased for an additional fee. It becomes part of the order only if the customer expressly selects it and the separate fee appears in the order summary and on the invoice.
Availability, the current fee, exclusions and the exact conditions of use are displayed at checkout and set out in the Return Policy.
Product warranty and statutory consumer rights
Vadalarm provides a 24-month voluntary manufacturer’s warranty for products manufactured by Vadalarm. This commercial warranty does not limit or replace any statutory conformity, warranty or other mandatory rights available to the customer under applicable law.
Consumers in the European Union have a minimum two-year legal guarantee when goods are faulty or do not conform to the contract. The national law applicable to your purchase may provide additional or more favourable protection.
Where Hungarian mandatory warranty rules apply to a qualifying new durable consumer good, the mandatory warranty period depends on the sales price: it is 2 years for a sales price of at least HUF 10,000 but no more than HUF 250,000, and 3 years above HUF 250,000. If any applicable mandatory rule provides a longer period or more favourable terms than our voluntary warranty, that mandatory rule takes precedence.
In the event of a defect, consumers may request repair or replacement, subject to the conditions and order of remedies established by applicable law. Where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or termination of the contract may also be available. We aim to complete repairs or replacements within 15 days and, if this takes longer, we will provide information about the expected completion time.
The voluntary warranty does not cover faults caused by improper use, external damage or unauthorised modification. This exclusion does not affect any claim the customer is entitled to make under mandatory law.
You can report a fault through your customer account or by emailing info@vadalarm.hu. Please include your order number, the product type and a short description of the fault. Full details are available in our Terms and Conditions and Return Policy.
Fast delivery from stock
Orders for in-stock products received on a working day in the morning are usually processed on the same day. In many cases, delivery may therefore take place as early as the next working day. This is not a guaranteed delivery deadline: availability, the selected payment method, destination and the carrier’s operation may all affect delivery time.
The estimated delivery time for your order is shown during checkout or in the order confirmation. Further information is available on our Delivery page.
Secure and flexible payment
Orders can be paid for online by debit or credit card through Barion, by bank transfer or, where offered at checkout, by cash on delivery. The payment methods available for a particular order and any related charges are always displayed before the order is submitted.
Developed and manufactured in the European Union
Vadalarm products are developed and manufactured in the European Union. Product and software development, customer support and servicing are also based in the EU. This gives customers direct access to a team that knows the products throughout selection, installation and troubleshooting.
